Sai Maritime is the exclusive agent for SAL in India since 1986 .Our partnership offers contemporary and dedicated fleets of heavy lift vessels to India, one of the fastest growing manufacturing centres and consumer markets in the world.
SAL¡¯s extensive experience makes them an outstanding and proficient partner for the safe delivery of all types of Heavy, Over Dimensional & Project cargoes. We support you with a fleet of ultra modern and purpose built vessels. These vessels are ¡®self geared¡¯, i.e. they have inbuilt lifting arrangement to load or unload cargo without depending on dockyard equipment.
The vessels range from7, 713 to 9,531 Mtons (metric tons) DWT (deadweight).The lifting capacity for these vessels range from 250 Mtons upto 1400 Mton SWL (safe working load).
Two newbuildings will be launched in December 2010 and March 2011 with lifting capacity of 2000 mtons SWL making them the heaviest lifting capacity in the world !

SAL is the first Heavy Lift Shipping Company with an ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certification. These are the highest certification standards that can be obtained for environmental protection, occupational health and safety. The company is in the process of certification of their vessels, making them the first heavy- lift fleet in the market with a distinct HSE certification.
